Friday, October 27. Orange Lawn Tennis Club, 305 N. Ridgewood Rd., South Orange, NJ
6:30 Reception, 7:30 Five Course Dinner. All for the ridiculous price of $75 (which includes tax and service)!
Before you start breaking into the candy stash, treat yourself to a truly special dinner ahead of the Halloween weekend madness. Our Harvest Dinner will celebrate the best of the Garden State and showcase some of the state’s top quality (and cool) enterprises. Everything on your plate and in your glasses will be from some of the top food and beverage artisans in New Jersey.
Want to be a real locavore/locabibe? Here is your chance to not just have an excellent meal, but to support the efforts of these growers and producers. Taste ciders from Ironbound Cider in Asbury, beers from Angry Erik Brewing in Lafayette, and wines from the Winemaker’s Co-op members (Beneduce Vineyards in Pittstown, Heritage Vineyards in Mullica Hill, Unionville Vineyards in Ringoes, and Working Dog Winery in East Windsor all dedicated to encouraging the movement for fine wines in the state) paired with meats, seafood, produce, foraged favorites and cheeses, all from within our state’s borders.
Interested in attending? Have any questions? Want to make a reservation? No prepayment is required but reservations are strongly suggested and appreciated as recent dinner events have sold out. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call/text me, Hank Zona of The Grapes Unwrapped, at 917-414-8957.
Seriously, you aren’t going to find a dinner anywhere else this season celebrating the quality and breadth of what the state has to offer. This isn’t just good food and drink for Jersey, but for anywhere. Oh, and less seriously, costumes are not required or expected. Isn’t that refreshing?
